Trading Battery Kills — April 2026

Four COT contrarian signals failed (corn, wheat, crude oil, EUR/USD — the last was a directional kill). Two macro signals failed with directional inversions (Sahm Rule → commodity demand destruction, SIPRI military spending → commodity bull). One spectral signal failed (market-microstructure-Kitchin on BAA/VIX; distinct from the surviving Kitchin phase clock).

Kill rate: 7 of 16 battery-tested signals = 44%.
